• Prices are quoted in USD/INR and exclude taxes unless stated

7.1 Inspection Upon Delivery

Inspect shipments immediately upon receipt. Report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours.

7.2 Shipping & Delivery Terms

The company assumes no responsibility for delays in project completion, product dispatch, or delivery—including partial shipments—even if a delivery date has been communicated. Any such delay shall not provide grounds for cancellation or termination of the contract by the buyer.

• Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery
• Products must be unused and in original packaging
• Custom/OEM products are non-returnable
• Return shipping costs are buyer's responsibility
• Refunds processed within 7-10 business days after inspection
• Restocking fee of 15% may apply

9. Warranty

All STAR Tools products carry a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty period varies by product category. Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.

9.1 Warranty Claims

Our products are guaranteed to perform as intended. In the event that any item or part thereof is proven to be defective due to material flaws or workmanship errors solely attributed to the company, Khatu Impex may, at its discretion, either replace the product or its faulty part. However, this liability is contingent upon written notification of the defect being received within 90 days from the date of delivery, and the defective item being returned to the company prepaid, with advance notice.

10.1 Ownership & Usage Rights

Unauthorized copying, reproduction—whether complete or partial—of any content including text, images, icons, diagrams, specifications, tables, etc., through any format or medium, is strictly forbidden without prior written authorization from Khatu Impex. Khatu Impex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use. Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

The buyer shall indemnify and hold the company harmless from any third-party claims, losses, injuries, or damages arising from the resale or use of the products. This includes all associated legal proceedings, costs, demands, and liabilities—particularly those related to infringement of patents, trademarks, or registered designs.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ludhiana, Punjab.
