What material are your funnels made from?
Our standard, conical, anti-spill and garage funnels are made from durable polypropylene (PP), which resists corrosion and chemical degradation. Polypropylene is safe for petroleum products, most acids, bases and industrial solvents. It maintains structural integrity across a wide temperature range. For the heaviest workshop use, our galvanized steel funnel (FNL-ZN) provides maximum durability.
What is an anti-spill funnel?
An anti-spill funnel has special contours and a raised rim designed to prevent splashing and spillage during fluid transfer. Our FNL-B series anti-spill funnels come in 6" (1.7 litre) and 9" (3 litre) sizes. The body shape ensures easy handling while keeping your workspace clean. They are especially popular in automotive workshops for oil changes and coolant filling where spills create safety hazards and cleanup costs.
What is a garage funnel?
A garage funnel (FNL-G series) is a large 12" heavy-duty polypropylene funnel designed for high-volume fluid transfer in automotive garages and workshops. Available with or without a removable filter screen (FNL-G-12 without filter, FNL-G-12F with filter). The filter catches debris, metal particles and contaminants during fluid transfer, protecting engines and equipment from damage. Built to withstand outdoor use in varying temperatures and sunlight.

Our JUG series measuring jugs are available in 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 600 ml, 1,000 ml, 2,000 ml, 3,000 ml and 5,000 ml capacities. What is the difference between measures and measuring jugs?
Measures (MSR series) are opaque HDPE containers with flexible spouts designed for pouring fluids into machinery. They come in 1 to 5 litre sizes and are built for workshop use where you need to pour oil or fluid into an engine or gearbox. Measuring jugs (JUG series) are clear, transparent polypropylene containers with graduated markings for precise volume measurement. Jugs are better for mixing, measuring and laboratory work where you need to see the fluid level.
Are your funnels safe for petroleum products?
Yes. All our polypropylene funnels are resistant to petroleum products including engine oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid and diesel. Unlike low-grade plastic funnels that degrade when exposed to petroleum, polypropylene maintains its structural integrity and does not leach chemicals into the fluid. For fuel transfer, always ensure proper ventilation and grounding to prevent static discharge.
Can I use your funnels for chemicals and acids?
Yes. Polypropylene is resistant to most acids, bases and industrial solvents. Our standard, conical and anti-spill funnels handle hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid (dilute), sodium hydroxide and most organic solvents safely. For concentrated strong acids or highly aggressive chemicals, check the specific chemical compatibility of polypropylene before use. What is a flexible spout measure?
A flexible spout measure (MSR-F series) is a heavy-duty HDPE container with a built-in flexible pouring spout that directs fluid precisely into narrow openings. Available in 1, 2, 3 and 5 litre capacities. The flexible spout prevents spills when pouring oil into engines, gearboxes or other equipment with small fill ports. Graduated markings on the body allow accurate measurement before pouring.
How do I clean plastic funnels and measuring equipment?
Rinse with warm soapy water after each use, especially when switching between different fluid types. For oil residue, use a degreaser or solvent wipe. For chemical residue, flush with clean water thoroughly. Polypropylene and HDPE are both easy to clean and do not absorb fluids. Never use abrasive scrubbers that could scratch the surface and create areas where contaminants can accumulate.
