Foot-operated pumps (S-310F) use a foot pedal and deliver 8,700 PSI, freeing both hands to hold the grease gun or hose. Foot-operated models are faster for high-volume work because you can pump and aim simultaneously. Hand-operated models are simpler and available in more bucket sizes (3 to 30 kg).
What bucket sizes do you offer?
We offer grease dispenser systems from 3 kg to 30 kg. Hand-operated models come in 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15 and 20 kg (without wheels) and 5, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 and 30 kg (with wheels/trolley). The S-310F foot-operated model handles 10 kg buckets (25% more capacity than competing models). Grease filler pumps (S-GFP series) are available in 12.5 kg, 20 kg and 50 kg sizes.
What NLGI grade grease works with bucket pumps?
STAR hand-operated bucket pumps are compatible with NLGI 1, 2 and 3 greases. NLGI 2 is the most common grade for general purpose lubrication. NLGI 1 is softer and flows more easily in cold conditions. NLGI 3 is thicker and used for heavy load applications. The S-310F foot-operated model is compatible with NLGI 1 and 2 greases.
Can I get wheeled trolley grease dispensers?
Yes. We offer grease dispenser buckets with built-in wheels and trolley frames (S-305T to S-330T). These mobile units allow operators to bring the grease supply directly to the equipment, eliminating trips back to the workbench. Can I use a bucket pump to fill grease guns?
Yes, that is one of the primary uses of a grease bucket pump. Connect the pump hose to the filler plug on your lever action or pistol grease gun and pump grease directly into the barrel. This is faster and cheaper than cartridge loading. For even faster filling, use the S-GFP grease filler pump which outputs 28g per stroke at 6,000 PSI.
How do I maintain a grease bucket pump?
After each use, wipe the pump rod and hose clean to prevent grit from entering the mechanism. Periodically inspect the hose for cracks or wear, especially near the coupler connection. Check the pump seals for leaks and replace them if grease seeps around the rod. Store the pump with the rod fully retracted and the coupler capped to keep dust out.
