What products does STAR manufacture?

What is the difference between lever action and pistol grip grease guns?
Lever action grease guns use a two-hand pumping lever to generate higher pressure (up to 12,000 PSI) and more grease per stroke, making them ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications. Pistol grip grease guns use a trigger for one-hand operation (3,000 to 10,000 PSI), which is better for tight spaces and quick jobs. We also manufacture dual-mode models (S-808 series) that switch between both mechanisms.
What types of barrel pumps do you manufacture?
We manufacture cast iron rotary barrel pumps for petroleum products and heavy oils, stainless steel rotary pumps for a wider range of fluids including mild chemicals, and plastic (polypropylene) rotary pumps for corrosive chemicals and acids. We also manufacture barrel pump accessories including handles, bung nuts, outlet spouts, flexible hoses and suction tubes.
What PSI range do your grease guns cover?
Our grease guns cover 3,000 to 12,000 PSI across the full range. Mini pistol models start at 3,000 PSI for light-duty work. Standard pistol and lever models deliver 5,000 to 8,000 PSI for general automotive and industrial use. Heavy-duty lever models with Quadra-Cut technology reach 12,000 PSI for demanding industrial bearings and sealed joints. Our grease bucket pumps deliver up to 8,700 PSI.
Do you offer OEM and private label manufacturing?
Yes. OEM and private label manufacturing is one of our core services. What thread options are available on grease guns?
All STAR grease guns are available with 1/8" BSPT (common in UK, Australia and Asia), 1/8" NPT (standard in North America) and M10x1 metric threads. This ensures compatibility with equipment standards used in any market worldwide. Custom thread specifications are also available for OEM orders.
